Edward Carmichael

Edward Carmichael is an associate lawyer at LD Law LLP. Edward leads the firm’s estates practice, working with clients to create customized Wills, Powers of Attorney, and comprehensive estate plans that accomplish their goals while minimizing their tax liability. He also specializes in probating estates and guides executors through the difficult process of estate administration.

Edward has extensive experience in real estate law, and has advised clients on all stages of closing residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Edward works with clients to resolve some of their most challenging family law issues. Whether it’s creating a cohabitation agreement or a separation agreement, Edward works with clients to ensure that their most urgent needs are addressed in this particularly sensitive area of law.

Edward received his law degree from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, running, and playing with his French Bulldog.
